I chose this rating because of the interesting subject matter;the author's ability to weave together such a huge range of persons, times, and places; and the shear difficulty of the task.These are also the things I liked about the book. Mostly I liked the more familiar writing style that felt like sitting in the room with the author. What I didn't like was the difficulty in following the "family histories" and geneologies .I do have the authors two books Following Philo I and II, but didn't finish. As the author suggests, they are difficult to follow. Having read this third book in the subject, I feel like I can finish the other two.The previous books and this more user friendly version present some incredible ideas that explores possible solutions to many mysteries inherent in the Hebrew and Christian scriptures. For people interested in the subject matter, th is a great book.

Roger Weed, PhD, LPC, CRC, CDMS, CCM, FNRCA, FIALCP, professor and graduate rehabilitation counseling coordinator at Georgia State University, is a licensed professional counselor, certified rehabilitation counselor, certified disability management specialist, certified case manager, fellow of the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association, and fellow of the International Academy of Life Care Planners. Dr. Weed is the ethics chair for the International Academy of Life Care Planners and associate editor of the Journal of Life Care Planning. He is also the recipient of the lifetime achievement award from the sponsors of the annual life care planning conference. Debra E. Berens, PhD, CRC, CCM, CLCP, is a certified rehabilitation counselor, certified case manager, and certified life care planner in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2001, she completed a 5-year term as commissioner on the national Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) and later was a member of the five-person task force responsible for revising the Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, and Competencies for the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP). Difficult to comprehend some esoteric concepts.

This book gives a lot of examples of how to do a life care plan for many disease/disabilities. Good resource.

Well written book on the subject. It is comprehensive and provides good background as well as both conceptual and concrete information.

Perfect, just what we needed and is packed with tons of helpful info.

Good resources. Used in online University of Florida Life Care Planning course. Arrived on time. Would recommend to others interested in life care planning.

This is a required text for an online class I am taking. I looked at a few other sites, (I won't mention) and found the best deal here. It's a great resource book and this edition is easy to read, not unnecessarily wordy. Thank you Amazon!
